Bubbly Thoughts on Camp Suds

Sierra Dawn Campsuds
A biodegradable, multipurpose cleaner for backpackers and campers.

Uses
Wash dishes, clothes, and your gross body. My Campsuds are the Citronella, Lavender & Peppermint Oil version, so they offer superficial bug protection while bathing, or washing dishes or laundry.

Why I love it
Created in the 1960s, Campsuds blazed the trail for other backpackers’ cleaning supplies. I’ve used a bunch, but I love Campsuds for their versatility (they don’t need to be rehydrated, and they work in hot, cold, and salt water), concentration (you REALLY only need a few drops), and effectiveness. On the WCT I used them for my dishes, my laundry, and my sweaty, smelly body. They left everything they touched squeaky clean… which is really saying something. I use the Citronella, Lavender & Peppermint Oil version because I am averse to bug spray and the citronella in my Campsuds is usually enough to deter most bugs.
